Hello! We're Majo and Haley Lovejoy, and we are so glad you made it to our site! We created A.G.A.P.E. Wellness to play our part in transforming the wellness industry. From our experiences as women in the LGBTQIA+ community, and Majo's experience as a member of the BIPOC community, we are committed to creating a community where all people feel welcomed, supported, valued, and respected. On our site, and in our classes, we share the wellness practices that have supported our optimal wellness so that this journey can be a little easier for you! We do our best to be culturally-informed and to give credit to the many people who have come before us and shared their knowledge and wisdom of healing. However, when we make a mistake, please call us out on it so that we can ensure that you feel safe in our community.

The world is made up of trinities. We see these patterns of three everywhere! Our fingers are separated into three parts, we have a past, a present, and a future, there's a left, a middle, and a right, and when we "balance" or mediate anything we're talking about three (two opposites and a mediation point in the center). And this pattern of three also shows up in our bodies (of course it does since we are reflections of our outer world).
When we talk about wellness, we must talk about one of the most significant trinities in our being - namely the trinity of the Mind, the Body, and the Spirit. In our wellness work, we focus on healing and balancing each one of these parts of us so that we are an integrated and healthy whole. And that's why our work involves so many different practices, techniques, tools, and has so many different aspects to it. We don't just focus on physical wellness, we don't just focus on emotional wellness, we don't just focus on mental wellness, because without wellness in any of these areas, it is impossible to be well.
So how does it work? Rooted in Enneagram Theory, we think about these three parts of us as three centers: the Head Center (Mind), the Body Center (Body), and the Heart Center (Spirit). And then we use a different tool and technique to access and heal each of these centers.
We use MEDITATION to find wellness in the Head Center.
We use YOGA to find wellness in the Body Center.
We use COMMUNITY & COACHING to find wellness in the Heart Center.
